General information on cookies used

The Cookie Policy specifies all the information on their use in relation to sites, applications, services, products and tools of www.justbob.net (hereinafter jointly “the Site”) and the options availableto the user while browsing.

This Cookie Policy must be read in conjunction with the information contained in the Privacy Policy available on the Site at the link https://www.justbob.net/privacy-policy/.

This Cookie Policy is valid regardless of how the Site’s services are accessed and used and therefore also applies to access via mobile devices and apps.

For information, we adviseyou that almost all browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. Users can still change the default configurations themselves from their device at any time.

As stated above, disabling or deleting cookies may however preclude the optimal use of some areas and / or functions of the Site or compromise the use of the offered services.

If the users want to decide from time to time whether to accept cookies, they can also configure their browser so that this generates a warning every time a cookie is saved.

The cookies used can be of the following type:

(1) persistent, i.e., they remain stored on the hard disk of the user’s device until they expire;

(2) session, i.e., they are not stored permanently on the hard disk of the user’s device and are therefore deleted when the browser is closed.

Cookies are used for:

(a) facilitate navigation within the site and ensure its correct use;

(b) facilitate access to services that require authentication (avoiding users having to re-enter their authentication credentials each time they access the services);

(c) for statistical purposes, to know which areas of the site have been visited;

(d) for optimal management of advertising spaces and pages;

(e) to deliver content and advertising in line with the choices made by surfers (so-called behavioral advertising with dynamic creativity).

Session Cookies are used to transmit the identifiers of the browsing sessions that allow safe and efficient exploration of the Site. The Session Cookies used on the Site avoid the use of other IT techniques that are potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of users’ browsing and are also used to improve the provision of the services offered.

In addition, the Cookies may be specific to the Site (used, for example, to find out the number of pages visited within the Site itself) or to third parties (i.e., generated by other sites to deliver content on the Site visited by users).

This site may use anonymous third-party cookies in order to manage the ads ina dynamic and advanced way.

The most popular browsers foresee the possibility of blocking only third-party cookies, accepting only the site ones. Furthermore, some sites that generate cookies on third-party sites offer the possibility to disable and / or inhibit easily only their own Cookies, even when these are anonymous, i.e., they do not involve the recording of personal identification data such as, for example, IP addresses.

Cookies used for aggregate analysis of visits to the Site

The Site uses aggregate navigation data analysis tools that allow us to improve the Site (New Relic, Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Hotjar, Contensquare). These tools use cookies that are installed on the user’s device to allow the site manager to analyze how they use the site.

The information generated by the Cookies on the user’s use of the Site (including the anonymized IP address by masking some fields) will be transmitted and stored on the servers of New Relic, Google, Hotjar and Contentsquare.

The aforementioned information may be used for the purpose of tracing and examining the users’ use of the sites, for reporting activities and to provide other services relating to the activity of the Site, as well as to perform navigation. To fully protect the privacy of users, the Site uses the “IP masking” function, which forces the system to obscure the last 8 digits of the user’s IP address before any type of processing is carried out, effectively making the analyzed data anonymous.

Anyway, users will have the possibility to inhibit the use of Google Analytics and to prevent its storage on their device through the appropriate browser add-on for the deactivation of Google Analytics, made available by Google at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

To activate this component that inhibits the system fromsending information about the user’s visit, simply install it by following the instructions on the screen, close and reopen the browser.

Regarding the Cookies related to New Relic, Hotjar and Contentsquare, users will have the possibility to find all the necessary information at the following addresses for:

Cookies used to publish interest-based ads

The sites may use third-party cookies to publish advertisements defined according to the interests of users. This information is collected during navigation and is in no way connected to the account with which the latter accesses the sites.

In particular, Google Adwords by Google Inc. uses the navigation data within its online advertising circuit to propose advertisements that are more relevant to the user’s interests, expressed during the browsing sessions.

The Site employs the aforementioned technology and uses navigation data to offer the user targeted and interest-based advertising.
